With the objective to reduce the amount of land filled biodegradable waste Urban Bike Revolution invited me to organise the workshops „Compost in the City" for students and „Compost with the Community" for employees from a Sibian company.
Workshop Compost with the Community
This workshop focuses on the benefits of turning biodegradable waste into compost, the why, how and where. Employees of a Sibian company participated and are encouraged to become the 'compost ambassador' of the flat / community they live in.
Workshop Compost in the City
Urban Bike Revolution invited me to organise the workshop „Compost in
the City" for secondary school students from the Samual von Brukenthal
National College in Sibiu during the "Green Week 2024" (Săptămâna Verde)
with the objective to reduce the amount of land filled biodegradable
waste.
During the practical workshop I presented various materials, tools and methods for making compost from kitchen and garden waste, and informed and motivated the students on how to create this valuable natural source of fertilizer for growing plants.
